HORN was founded in 1944 and has been a well-known brand name in the world market as a specalist for pumps - mainly for diesel, fuel, oil and other lubricrants.

In the year 2000, HORN acquired DEUTSCHE TECALEMIT 2000 GmbH & Co. KG including all patents and trademarks and has successfully intergated their product range into its own portfolio.

During October 2011 HORN GmbH & Co.KG (HORN TECALEMIT) , which is one of the oldest portfolio companies of the German INDUS-Group (www.indus.de) acquired all the shares of Pneumatic Components Ltd (PCL).

Both companies will continue to trade independently as they do currently, but each will have access to a wider range of complementary products to offer. Operationally, the new group has much wider and comprehensive design, development, engineering and manufacturing capability.
