Leading transport solution company, Fraikin Ltd, has hailed PCL's ACCURA electronic tyre inflation range a success after choosing 47 units for its City Link and Goodyear contracts.

Fraikin, owner of Lex Transfleet Ltd, is a leading provider of commercial vehicle fleet services in the UK, with nearly 16,000 vehicles under its management and a depot and office infrastructure spanning the whole of the country. Therefore the safety and reliability of its vehicles is of paramount importance.

After researching the market to find products of a high enough calibre to use on its next generation fleets, Fraikin found that only PCL could provide the exact product to meet the required specifications.

Two units – the ACCURA 12 Tyreshop inflator and the ACCURA 10 Forecourt model were fitted in Fraikin’s dedicated site to service City Link vehicles, whilst 47 units were fitted onto its Goodyear van fleet.

PCL's ACCURA 10 wall-mounted gauge is fail-safe, and easy to use, whilst the ACCURA 12 Tyreshop model is ideal for high flow applications.

"More specifically, City Link’s wide range of vehicles needed a bespoke package. So incorporating the ACCURA with a 20m reel enabled the inflation of the complete tractor trailer combination from just one unit if necessary whilst the vehicle stands in the indoor service area. The kit supplied was designed specifically to suit the building dimension, and with the selection of connectors incorporated in the package, any possible valve size can be inflated, from 8v to 12v."
