This year's Automechanika saw PCL's best show ever with a record number of visitors dropping in at their stand.
PCL’s focus for 2010 was on advanced products for nitrogen and air inflation, with demonstrations of its wide portfolio of tyre inflation products and air tools - including the brand new QUBE, a cost-effective and tiny yet speedy digital inflator which generated a lot of excitement.
Automechanika also saw the launch of PCL's revolutionary new state of the art electronic platform, to be installed in all newly manufactured electronic inflation devices with the touch screen buttons widely admired and the whole design providing extra flexibility, convenience and robustness.
Customers were especially impressed with the automatic N2 Inflator, with its major benefits of achieving purity and accuracy, simply and cost effectively, mounting interest.
There was also a lot of excitement about PCL's new products, including the new D80 Free-Standing Digital Tyre Inflation tower for modern petrol forecourts, with some good orders taken throughout the 6 day show.
Nitrogen was PCL's highlight for Automechanika as it becomes increasingly popular as an alternative to Air. The main attraction is PCL's dynamic duo - the N2 Generator and Inflator, combining the latest in high performance nitrogen generation with leading inflation technology. The Nitrogen Inflator provides N2 fill and Air to N2 Conversion for up to 4 tyres, whilst the Nitrogen Generator can be used in conjunction with any inflation device, such as a handheld or fixed digital unit.
Other products in the nitrogen range include the: Nitrogen Analyser, designed to show the percentage of nitrogen in tyres indicating to providers that the N2 unit is generating the 97-98% purity required and to customers that they are reaching the 94% purity in the tyre to maximise the benefits; and the ACCURA Mobile, a mobile solution for nitrogen inflation of tyres in tyre shops, workshops, car dealerships and transport depots.
