However, the new “Made in Sheffield” Safeflow also offers the additional benefit of two-stage release, making it safer to disconnect by releasing the air pressure before the adaptor can be removed, thus eliminating hose whip.

Safeflow fits the standard PCL adaptor profile, and is therefore compatible with most existing equipment, and has been manufactured in accordance with safety standards ISO 4414:1998 and EN 983:1996.
