PCL’s ACCURA 1 is driving the market for digital handheld tire inflators in the States

PCL’s recently launched ACCURA 1 is driving the market for digital handheld tire inflators in the States with its first bulk order from top US company Myers Tire Supply Distribution Inc.

This represents a major coup for PCL in its bid to front the international market for tire inflation – Myers is one of the biggest worldwide suppliers of equipment for tires, wheels and under-vehicle service and deals with a vast client base within the truck, fleet and tire dealer markets.

The ACCURA 1 is set for distribution in America later this year and will boost PCL’s fast-growing reputation as a trusted manufacturer of products setting the benchmark for safe, reliable and accurate tyre inflation.

Myers Tire Supply is pleased to have sourced PCL’s innovative products, as Marketing Manager Larry Edgell explained: “We tested many digital inflators on the market and chose the ACCURA 1 because of the quality and accuracy of the product.  Before distributing, we tested it at customer locations and received positive feedback on the performance as well as the large digital display. Our original “trial” order was placed during the initial product launch but we then made a second order as demand had increased. We are delighted to be working with PCL and have been impressed with the high quality of both the product and customer service.”

Since its launch last year ACCURA 1 has rapidly become known as the premium handheld digital product for ease of use, reliability and readability with rapid, safe and cost-effective tyre inflation. Breaking the mould for handheld units, ACCURA 1 is becoming widely accepted as the best product available for all uses, including the growing requirement for the measuring and checking of digital Tyre Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS).

ACCURA 1 is PTB approved, demonstrating its high performance across the full pressure range, at elevated and sub-zero temperatures and in high humidity. It has passed comprehensive testing of EMC emission and immunity and endured cyclical testing under dynamic pressure actuations, including shock impulse.

The order from Myers Tire Supply follows hot on the heels of PCL’s successful reception at SEMA where orders were generated from over 30 countries worldwide and which prompted PCL’s production to reach a peak for US customers.

Marketing Director Simon Shorter is confident that this is just the tip of the iceberg: “We are pleased to have received such a substantial order from Myers Tire Supply who are so well-reputed in the States. It is extremely rewarding to get such positive feedback and to see our strategies for reinforcing the PCL brand name worldwide to have already taken such a firm root in the US.”
