High performance solution gets paddleboarders swiftly and safely out on the water
PCL is set to make waves in the world of Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) with another innovative addition to its newly launched 2023 Free Spirit leisure range.
Paddleboarding is one of the fastest growing water sports in the UK and worldwide, with inflatable SUP boards popular as a lightweight, easy-storage option, especially for families using two or three between them.
In response, PCL has created a fully digital product to take the strain out of inflation. PCL’s unit is capable of inflating a standard, 3-metre-long paddleboard to 15 psi in under 5 minutes.
All users need to do is connect the paddleboard to the inflator and it does the hard work for them. This will save paddleboarders considerable effort, leaving them fresh and full of energy to get safely out on the water.
Available as a free vend station, or with contactless card payment facilities for revenue generation, PCL’s innovative new unit is the ideal solution for water sport centres, local authorities, land owners and facilities managers to install at SUP launch locations.
For users, it is simple to use, with self-explanatory instructions and an easy-to-read digital backlit screen. It provides accurate inflation for ultimate efficiency and performance.
For those installing a unit on site, the powerful onboard compressor removes the need for an air supply, with the only requirement a 240V power connection. In line with PCL’s reputation for high quality products built for longevity, the SUP unit is designed to withstand harsh environments, with a robust stainless steel construction. The coiled hose shrinks back for easy storage, leaving the area clear of entanglements and trip hazards.
As with PCL’s entire portfolio, the SUP Inflation Station has been developed with safety a priority, backed by the company’s ethos of promoting the responsible use of equipment.
