Which PCL coupling can be used outdoors?
For outdoor or specialist applications such as non-spark, damp or high condensation environments, PCL's AC32 Non-Corrodible Coupling is recommended.
The AC32 has been manufactured in our state-of-the-art factory for over 20 years and proudly carries the ‘Made in Sheffield’ mark of origin and quality.
This Non-Corrodible Coupling has evolved from PCL's Standard Coupling (Now referred to as the Airflow Series) - which we have been manufacturing for nearly 80 years.

The AC32 features the same realiable qualities of the AC21 Airflow including the single action mechanism and is also compatible with the PCL Standard Adaptor profile. The Airflow Coupling is manufactured from stainless steel, whilst this is robust and hard-wearing and ideal for use in the engineering/workshop environment, the AC32 Non-Corrodible Coupling features an all brass body and valve, making the AC32 more suitable for damp enivornments.
